Your adventure starts here

after school club 5-11 years

(coming soon)

Forest School allows children of all ages to visit the woodland on a regular basis with trained practitioners. Through the delivery of Forest School sessions, we are able to introduce children to the joy of spending time immersed in nature, enabling them to learn new skills. The woodland environment is known to stimulate the natural curiosity and inspire the mind. We allow children to explore at their own pace.

The calming influence of the outdoors encourages children to create their own play opportunities and work collaboratively with others. Children develop the ability to recognise and manage risk.  Children are simply allowed to play.

These are booked as a minimum of 6-week blocks and once registered you will keep your place. You will receive information for each new block and we will automatically send you an invoice unless you choose not to continue.

We also offer woodland play and stay sessions for young babies, toddlers and pre-school aged children. These sessions are designed to offer a taste of the outdoors through free play alongside activities planned and led by one of our leaders. Parents and carers are asked to attend these sessions and enjoy the great outdoors too. Giving babies, toddlers and preschoolers the opportunity to explore their natural surroundings allows them to fully engage their body, mind and all of their senses. The outdoor environment has the added benefit of space; giving children the freedom to explore in a space which allows for unrestrained movement. Our sessions are designed to ignite and encourage a natural motivation and positive attitude to learning.

Keep an eye out for our special events planned throughout the year which will be advertised on our website and social media sites.

  • Sturdy waterproof boots/trainers or wellington boots
