ABOUT US

Willoughby Woods Forest School invites you to see the woods in a new way which offers your children the freedom to explore and spend some quality time in nature.

We take pride in delivering engaging, fun, inclusive, educational sessions, offering memorable and rewarding experiences. The sessions are designed to be safe and welcoming. No previous outdoor experience necessary, our sessions are open to all.

We look forward to welcoming you to the woods!

Willoughby Woods Forest School believe the true ethos of Forest School is simply nature-based play. Our aim is to introduce as many children as possible to the unlimited opportunities the natural environment has to offer. Through play children are able to appreciate all forms of nature and enjoy a sense of freedom. Our long-term Forest School sessions offer an appealing Forest School experience with no predetermined objectives.

Through the combination of independent and group led activities based on a holistic approach, children are able to reach their full potential. Children are given the opportunity to completely engross themselves in to open ended play and discovery. Benefits of these sessions include small group sizes led by an accredited Forest School leader.
